About

Untitled was an early work created as a visualisation of Brooks’ surroundings at the time in relation to the state of UK politics, Brexit and his own personal conflicts with future decision making. Brooks at this time became overwhelmed with the continuing floods of information both globally and personally, he found it a very hard time to traverse his thoughts and focus, with a continued feeling of overstimulation and his own thoughts not being heard. Brooks in retaliation to these feelings created a monolithic structure of how the internal would look on the outside. A thick tar like structure almost sticky to the touch ready to absorb anything in its path.
