Brooks’ work Object X.2, was initially a test piece from a larger body of work that was later refined for exhibition. Initially interested in the components of installation art and their effect on the audience in relation to immersion, Brooks’ work later developed into looking at the objects within a space being immersive. Brooks’ work used large scale inflatable forms to occupy space and created a sensory environment that became viewer specific.
